They say our teens are at greatest risk behind the wheel of a car.  I'm not going to argue with the experts...I am going to (I believe) help address the challenge...on May 17, as part of the Audi Club Northwest's Matthew Ammon Memorial Driving School, we will be conducting a Teen Driver Clinic focused on building skills, knowledge, and safety for our newest drivers.  The in-car clinic on Saturday is preceded by a 2-hr classroom session on Thursday, May 15, 7pm, at Mercer Island's Community Center.

 

This goes above and beyond the typical Traffic Ed course qualifying new drivers for a license.  We will be exploring the concept of the High Performance Driver--not in terms of making ones car perform better, but making the Driver perform at a higher level of safety and skill.  The benefit is not just for the driver, but for all other drivers and passengers on the road as well.  Check it out.
