Don't Forget

• Clean rugs and clothing before moving.  Have rugs "moving" wrapped
• Empty freezer, plan to use up these foods!
• Clean refrigerator/freezer.  Place baking soda (or a clean sock filled with coffee) in each compartment to absorb moisture and dispel odor
• Set-up services for your new home including electricity, gas, phone, insurance, cable, wireless, and internet.  Notify current service providers to cancel or transfer your accounts
• Set aside valuables such as jewelry, medications, legal documents, checkbooks, photos and other irreplaceable items--move these yourself!
• Plan for special care needs of infants and pets
